I limit myself to watching the series available on my streaming platforms, which is Netflix (always) and Disney+ (occasionally). I've missed Ted Lasso b/c of not having Apple TV and now I'm tempted to get it, maybe take a break from Netflix (which I must admit I enjoy).
Matthew Rhys is such an interesting case for me - very similar to Dominic West, who I first discovered as Jimmy McNulty in The Wire. Two British actors that I heard for the first time with American accents. I've been watching The Beast in Me, where Rhys is excellent as a chilling sociopath, American accent and all.
It’s a great show. Funnily enough, I wasn’t sure after the first episode. I could see what it was trying to do but thought the humour might undercut the horror, but like you said, they got the balance spot on and some of the later episodes were seriously creepy. King and Carpenter loom large and that can only be a good thing 👍🏼😁
I LOVED this series. I really doesn't get much better than this. Patricia is now my favourite character in anything I have seen all year (and more to be honest).
It's so much fun! Such a delicious brew and tonally bang on. I think all three leads are superb and I will not be forced into picking a favourite. But it's probably Patricia...
I absolutely LOVED Widow's Bay, we must have churned through it in less than a week and I wish I could watch it all over again from scratch! Patricia's party was a personal highlight.

Apple TV has some great shows. This, Ted, Pluribus, Severance, Slow Horses. It's excellent.
You might not be the most timely reviewer, but you are a good one. I don't have Apple TV, but you make me seriously consider changing that.

And yes the other leads were great, as well as a handful of others. Rosemary especially.
